ORIGIN STORY
Inspired by the ideals of the family farmers and ranchers who came before them,
Seco gets its name from the dry creek bed that runs alongside the family’s multigenerational ranch in Medina County. Their grandfather’s hard work, straight talk, and gratitude for working within nature serve as inspiration for the company’s mission and culture.
From tiling farmland in the 1950s to reimagining today’s urban centers through sophisticated, modern developments, the family continues to honor the tradition of shaping our Texas landscapes.
As lifelong Austinites, the Needhams’ commitment to their Central Texas community comes through in all of their work. From their offices in downtown Austin, Seco focuses on development, investment, leasing, and management across industrial, office, multi-family, and retail.
