JOHN NEEDHAM
John is a Founding Partner of Seco Ventures. With over 40 years of experience in commercial real estate, John provides overarching vision and directional leadership across all the firm’s projects.
Prior to founding Seco Ventures, John was a Founding Partner of Riverside Resources, where he oversaw that acquisition, development, management, and dispositions of nearly 2,700 acres, 6.7 million square feet, and $2 billion in transaction value. Before Riverside Resources, John acted as the Chief Financial Officer for Byram Properties where he oversaw the acquisition, management, and disposition of a $120 million real estate portfolio. John completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin, earning his CPA.
JOSHUA NEEDHAM
Joshua is a Founding Partner of Seco Ventures. With particular expertise in entitlement, design, construction, and project management, Joshua has worked in commercial real estate development for over 6 years.
Prior to Seco Ventures, Joshua served 7 years in the United States Air Force as a Contracting Officer. Joshua completed his undergraduate studies at the United States Air Force Academy, majoring in Business Management. Joshua also earned his MBA in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas.
JORDAN NEEDHAM
Jordan is a Founding Partner of Seco Ventures. Jordan has worked in commercial real estate development for over 12 years where he has focused on acquisition, underwriting, and project management. He is also a Founding Partner of Bronco Ventures, a private-equity investment firm that targets small, Texas-based service companies.
Prior to Seco Ventures, Jordan worked as a Junior Partner for Riverside Resources in Austin and as an Acquisitions Analyst for BlackSwan Real Estate Partners in Houston. Jordan completed his undergraduate studies at the Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, earning a dual bachelor’s degree in Engineering Science and Economics, with a minor in Engineering Management.
JEFF STEWART
Jeff works as a Development Associate for Seco Ventures, where he assists in all facets of commercial real estate development, with particular focus in project coordination, financial underwriting, and investment management.
Prior to joining Seco Ventures, Jeff worked at CBRE Austin with the Debt & Structured Finance team. While at CBRE, Jeff’s responsibilities included all aspects of loan origination for multifamily, commercial, retail, and industrial properties. Jeff completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance with a focus in real estate from the McCombs School of Business.
TAMARA MADRID
Tamara works as Seco Ventures' Executive Assistant and Office Manager.
In her role as Executive Assistant, she provides the highest level of support to the Founding Partners. Tamara is also heavily involved in various phases of the projects. She assists with a broad range of tasks that allow the company to operate effectively and efficiently.
Prior to joining Seco Ventures, Tamara worked for Topgolf for 7 years, where she held several roles. While at Topgolf Austin, Tamara oversaw day-to-day operations, associate hiring, training, and development, and Corporate Platinum Membership sales at a local and national level.
